From the Swansea university, professor Luca Borgor has been partnering with France, Switzerland, and the United States on a study to look at the body-mass of albatross.And knowing that the Albatross is a sexual dimorphic species that share parental care. According to the study they have found that males albatross been gaining weight over the past decades enhancing performance in adult survival, breeding, chick mass, and juvenile survival. However, this was not the case for females. These male Albatross tent to have heavier sons as well but not heavier daughters ,thus increasing more improved males increasing the overall fitness in males.
